From Childhood Dream to Dive Professional

My passion for the ocean was ignited in childhood, watching “The World of the Seas” (Alam Al Behar) with immense anticipation every single Friday. This program planted a deep-seated dream to explore the underwater world.

That dream was nurtured by my hometown of Alexandria, nestled on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea. As a natural-born lover of the sea, I made the pivotal decision to move to Hurghada in 1993 to fully immerse myself in the diving industry and begin my journey into the depths.

I earned my Divemaster certification in 1995 and continued my professional development, achieving my Dive Instructor rating in 2000. I began my career as a dive guide, and my passion soon evolved towards liveaboard safaris, drawn by the allure of reaching the Red Sea’s remote and pristine sites that are inaccessible to daily boats. I embarked on this exciting new chapter of expedition diving in 1998.

I am proud to have joined the Xplorer fleet in 2022, where I continue to share my passion and expertise with divers from around the globe.
