The PADI Tec 50 course is the final stage in the core TecRec program, certifying you to conduct extended decompression dives to a maximum depth of 50 meters using air or enriched air and up to two decompression gases. It’s a serious achievement—and it’s made even more rewarding when completed on board our expert-run liveaboard in Hurghada.
You’ll fine-tune your technical diving skills, master complex dive planning, gas switching, decompression procedures, and advanced emergency scenarios—all under real-world conditions at some of the Red Sea’s most challenging and inspiring dive sites.
This course is ideal for experienced tec divers ready to push their limits with precision and safety, supported by experienced instructors and full tec support on board.
Course includes:
Deep tec dives with accelerated decompression
Use of twin cylinders and two deco gases
Advanced dive planning and problem management
Certification upon successful completion
Prerequisites:
PADI Tec 45 certification
Rescue Diver certification
Enriched Air & Deep Diver certifications
Minimum 100 logged dives (with 20+ deeper than 18m, 15+ deeper than 30m, and at least 10 with EANx)
Minimum age: 18 years
Duration: 4–5 days
