The TDI Extended Range Diver course is designed for experienced technical divers ready to explore greater depths using air or normoxic Trimix with accelerated decompression. Conducted aboard our liveaboard in Hurghada, this advanced training prepares you to dive to a maximum depth of 55 meters, using multiple stage/decompression gases and full technical equipment.
This course focuses on advanced dive planning, deep gas strategies, problem-solving at depth, and executing longer, deeper dives with confidence and control. You’ll train in real-world conditions on some of the Red Sea’s most challenging and rewarding dive sites, guided by certified TDI instructors.
Course includes:
Advanced deep diving procedures
Decompression planning using multiple gases
Use of twinsets, stage bottles, and redundant systems
Emergency drills, gas switching, and failure management
Certification upon successful completion
Prerequisites:
TDI Advanced Nitrox Diver
TDI Decompression Procedures Diver (or equivalent)
Minimum age: 18 years
Minimum 100 logged dives with technical diving experience
Duration: 4–5 days
