We utilize the robust and reliable JJ-CCR—renowned for its "simple is best" philosophy and minimal failure points . Courses are available under TDI, PADI, or RAID, depending on your certification goals .

1. "Try CCR" – Intro to Rebreather Diving
Perfect for: Daily divers staying at the resort who are curious about the tech.

The Experience: Never done a rebreather before? This is your no-pressure introduction. Under Andrew’s direct supervision, you will learn the basic theory of Partial Pressure of Oxygen (PPO₂) and experience the eerie silence of diving without bubbles.

Includes: A shallow, guided dive (or pool session) where you simply breathe and enjoy the serenity while Andrew handles the unit management .

2. JJ-CCR MOD 1 – Air Diluent
Perfect for: Open Circuit divers (Advanced Open Water +) ready to go tech.

Depth: Up to 30m / 100ft.

Focus: The entry-level course. You will master unit assembly, pre-dive checks, loop volume management, and bailout procedures. Learn to stay down for 90+ minutes without decompression obligations .

Outcome: Certified to dive the JJ-CCR within no-decompression limits.

3. JJ-CCR MOD 1 – Air Diluent with Deco
Perfect for: Those tired of short bottom times on deep wrecks (like the Thistlegorm).

Depth: Up to 40m / 150ft.

Focus: Extend your exploration into light decompression. You will learn to manage staged decompression stops using your CCR, allowing you to stay deep longer than any open circuit diver .

4. JJ-CCR Helitrox (MOD 1 Upgrade)
Perfect for: Deep safaris (45m+) wanting to mitigate narcosis.

Depth: Up to 45m / 150ft.

Focus: Adding helium to your diluent mix. This reduces narcosis and work of breathing, keeping your mind sharp for complex wreck navigation or photography at depth .

5. Crossover & Refresher Courses
For Experienced CCR Divers: Already certified on another unit (Inspiration, rEvo, etc.)? Andrew offers the JJ-CCR Crossover Course to get you familiar with the JJ’s specific pneumatics and configuration in just 2-3 days .

Refresher: Been out of the loop for a while? A confined water refresher session rebuilds muscle memory for emergency procedures.
