Meet Marwa – Dive Instructor & Technical Diving Specialist
Marwa brings a unique blend of expertise, passion, and dedication to the Xplorer team. She holds a BSc in Architecture from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Cairo and a Project Management Diploma from the American University in Cairo, with over a decade of experience working as a project manager and trainer for financial institutions.
Her love for the underwater world began in 2008 during a summer holiday in Sharm El Sheikh, where she took her first dive course and instantly became hooked. So strong was her passion that she spent the following years commuting every weekend from Cairo to Sharm, gaining experience and knowledge until she achieved her PADI Instructor rating in 2011. For five years, she balanced her career in Cairo with teaching diving on a freelance basis, before finally deciding to move to Sharm El Sheikh and dedicate herself fully to diving.
With more than 17 years of diving experience in the Red Sea, Marwa has built a strong reputation both as a recreational and technical diving professional. She continues to grow her expertise and currently holds multiple certifications, including:
•PADI IDC Staff Instructor (since 2008)
•TDI Extended Range Diver (2011)
•TDI CCR Diver (2020)
•SDI Open Water Instructor (2025)
•TDI Advanced Nitrox & Decompression Procedures Instructor (2025)
Her favorite dive sites are Shark & Yolanda Reef for recreational diving, and Thomas Canyon for technical adventures. Among all her journeys, the St. John’s trip remains her most memorable.
Marwa joined the Xplorer team in 2023, where she shares her deep passion for the ocean with every diver she meets, inspiring others to explore and enjoy the wonders of the Red Sea.
