Dear travelers,

We imagine you might have seen some worrying news on TV or online about tensions in the Middle East. Naturally, when you’re planning a dream trip to Egypt, you want to be absolutely sure that everything is calm.

So, we wanted to give you a clear and honest update.

The good news is that Egypt is far, far away from all of that.

1. Egypt is on the other side of the map!

To give you a concrete idea:

  • There are nearly 2,000 km between Cairo and Tehran.
  • That’s farther than the distance between Paris and Kyiv (about 1,970 km).

You see that distance? That’s what protects Egypt. The country is a distant observer, not a direct neighbor to the conflict zone. It’s a simple but undeniable fact.

2. And in the sky, everything is fine.

The planes you’ll be on will fly through a perfectly secure airspace. In fact, it’s one of the busiest and most reliable routes in the world for connecting Europe to Asia. Airlines continue to operate normal flights to Cairo, Luxor, Hurghada, and Sharm el-Sheikh.

There has been no disruption to Egyptian airspace.

3. Egypt remains untouched.

It’s a fact: in recent weeks, incidents have occurred in some countries in the region (Saudi Arabia, Iraq, etc.). That is true. But Egypt has remained completely outside of this. No explosions, no strikes, and no attacks have targeted Egyptian territory.

The country is a haven of stability, and the local authorities are dedicated to ensuring that everything proceeds with the utmost serenity for its visitors.

Our final word

You can come. You can dream. The temples, the Nile, and the Red Sea are waiting for you, as beautiful and peaceful as they are in the photos.

If you have any questions at all, our team is here to answer them.

See you very soon in Egypt!
